Dramaland

So, I decided to tell you, ladies about the mascara that I've been using for a bout a month or so. Mainly because there is no reason not to as I cannot see any downsides of this mascara. It is Prestige My Blackest Lashes mascara and there are three main reasons you should take a look at it.

First of all, it is cheap. Actually cheap to the point where you don't need to think should I spend my money on it or not. You can just grab it without a thought rushing through your mind. It cost me 4 euro!

Secondly, it works! Prestige has surprised me a lot with their mascaras. If you want length to your
lashes, go for My Longest Lashes mascara and if you want that dramatic look, go for this one! They both do wonders. I would never have thought that a mascara THIS cheap will work so well. It makes your lashes super black and voluminous, they look full and dramatic. You can work the intensity and blackness by applying coat over coat. It's not as clumpy as most mascaras when you begin to layer it. It does clump your lashes a little bit but not to the point when it looks like you have 5 lashes at most.

Thirdly, it doesn't leave you with horrific panda eyes. Meaning mascara smudged all over your bottom lash line. I hate when this happens! How on Earth you create and SELL mascara that leaves black residue under your eyes everytime you blink?! Thankfully, this one is great on that aspect and doesn't smudge at all.

So girls, take a look at some cheapo mascaras before letting your wallet loose on luxe ones! Sometimes the cheaper the better:)

'A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future' - Coco Chanel
May I alter that into 'A woman who doesn't wear lipstick has no future' ? Not that I don't agree with Gabrielle Chanel's statement, I just think that in the modern society everybody wears perfume. Tacky or classy. It's more about the lipstick now. That's just my opinion.

Venus Embrace by Gillette

I figured that this razor deserves a blog post. It IS good. Not like the previous one the "Breeze" which slightly disappointed me. I remember buying the Breeze razor because it was this beautiful lilac color and had those attractive aloe vera moisture bands. The downside of that one was that these moisture ribbons were a little too big and so the blades were not sliding close enough to the skin, thus the shave was not smooth. You could still feel the roughness on your legs after the shave. Plus, once left in the shower (which is usually a humid place, isn't it?) these ribbons melt and look super unattractive. A viscous, sticky mess! However, the new one-Embrace does not have those gel like ribbons, but some rather nice ones. They stay in place, do not melt and do not move. A big applaud on that improvement! Other than that, the shaver is very nice, easy to control, the head of it is moving so u can get very precise shave. It glides on beautifully especially paired with Gillette Satin Care shaving gel. The combination of the two leave your legs (or any other part of the body) extremely smooth and sexy. Highly recommend this one! If you had the same experience with previous shavers, don't give up, Venus improves and claims to reveal the goddesses in us, girls!

Tell me what's your favorite way/tool to get rid of the bodily hair.

New wedges

These are not typically my style, nor my color, but I thought why not to go for more interesting shoe options during summer:) It's kinda hard to find sth to wear with them, I only have one coral blouse. I guess beige neutrals, whites and blue will go with them. I've already posted an outfit video on youtube wearing them so if you are interested, check that out!

Nude rainbow

So I've noticed this rainbow nail trend going on and decided to play up my toes. I wasn't brave enough to go for the colors so I chose nude shades instead and I'm pretty happy with the result! I think it looks funky, unique and sophisticated at the same time, because the colors are neutral and not in your face. It's something that you don't see around that much, but I've been rocking my nude rainbow toe nails and enjoying it so far.
Yesterday when I was trying shoes on in a store, sales assistants were whispering sth. to each other's ear after starring at my feet for a while.  I'm pretty sure that was the fault of my conversation starter toe nails:) Don't know if it is a good or a bad thing but I don't really care what they thought. These are my toe nails and I will paint smiley faces on them if I wanted to! :)
What colors are you rocking right now and what are your favorites?

P.S. Excuse the pictures of my toe nails if you are one of those people that hate feet!
Peace.

Nails of the weekend

This weekend I wore the beautiful Dior nail polish 354 Pink Berries. It's my first Dior nail polish and I'm really surprised by the quality. It is so much better than that of the Chanel nail polishes. Chanel chips the next or even the same day you apply it. This one lasted me about 3 days which brings it close to my beloved Essie nail polishes. The application was perfect, no streaks, opaque with one coat, but I applied two just because I always do. Overall quality is superb, color is beautiful, soft rosy pink color with silver pearlescent shine to it which doesn't show up on the nails, just gives them a slight glowing effect if you get what I'm trying to say:)  I haven't tried any other Dior nail polishes, but the first try impressed me and I'd highly recommend them.

When I saw this collection on CafeMakeup, my heart melted. Every single item is so beautiful, I don't know how I'll resist to that. The cream eye shadows, lip products, eye shadow quad, these amazing nail polishes... Oh my! I'll defo get something, but I just don't know how to make the right decision and WHAT to get as I want all of this on my vanity! The collection should be out mid or late July.
