Mélanie

Mélanie Laurent looking bloody gorgeous! She is not only a lovely actress, a French beauty but an inspiring person as well. I really like her style especially in these pictures. Her looks are with character, she is not overly stylish. Very French, very effortless-chic and classy. I also love how she styles her hair, it looks like she spent two minutes doing it while a hairdresser probably spent an hour styling it...

Look at that duo, two French beauties! Love them!

I'm like a bird...

Hi ladies, have you seen my newest video on how to style a fur gilet/vest? Mine is made out of feathers, not fur, but is just as pretty and as soft as the fur ones. I got it from Zara in grey color but they also have it in burgundy and cream colors! The other two are equally gorgeous! Want them all but my wallet would not resist that. Will wait until sales come by.

Images from Zara page:

Love this one! Thank God they did not have all three colors when I bought mine. Would have been to hard to choose!
 Absolutely stunning!

Autumn trend look: spidery lashes and vampy lips

I've seen a lot of this trend look lately. Models at Gucci and Miu Miu have been wearing this look the best. So I tried to recreate it, taking my time to clump the lashes together and carefully applying deep red lipstick. I really like how it turned out, at first I was a bit hesitant and thought I'd never wear this out, but when I was done with the look, it kinda grew on me and I really like the result! You may check my tutorial on Youtube if you are interested and here are some pics for you, girls!

What do you girls think of this look?

Products I've used up

I recently posted a video about the products I've used up and my thoughts on them, in case you missed it, here is a blog post for you, girls.

Let me start with the products I really enjoyed using:
1. Loreal Elnettt hairspray. I had the mini one that I got for traveling purposes. It is my favorite hairspray from all I've tried so far. I always come back to this, no matter what. It doesn't make my hair feel crunchy or stiff, doesn't weight it down, leaves my hair brushable but still manages to hold it in place. However, the smell of it is absolutely disgusting, I hate it! But that still will not stop me from buying it, I guess:)
2. Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer. Love this concealer! It's my second tube and the third one is already waiting for me. I haven't found anything better for covering up my blemishes and dark undereye circles all in one tube! It sinks into the skin beautifully without being cakey. Love!
3. Nivea face wash for sensitive skin. Nothing much to say really, just a lovely gentle face wash with delicate granules for exfoliation. Leaves my skin very soft, smooth and hydrated, doesn't dry it out. I got a backup already, I really enjoyed using it!
4. Schwarzkoph Gliss Kur Hair Repair. Liquid Silk Gloss. It's a leave-in conditioner that makes my hair super soft. I spray generous amounts of it on damp hair as it is very lightweight and it makes my hair  much easier to comb. Sometimes my hair is a real disaster and untangable mess, this helps me a lot  and smells lovely too.
5.Macadamia Nourishing leave-in cream. I absolutely love Macadamia range. Let me start by saying that their products smell divine! This is a wonderful leave-in cream, very nourishing, leaves my hair moisturized, especially my dry ends. You need very little of it, only a dime size amount, rub it between your palms and run your fingers through your hair starting from your ears going down. Such a brilliant product! You need to be careful not to apply too much or your hair can turn into a greaseball. It is something that will keep your hair shiny and healthy looking and will last you quite a while. Paired with Macadamia Healing oil, it's a miracle combo!

Ok, now onto my disappointments:
6. Schwarzkofp Blond me Nourishing leave-in conditioning spray. Using this product I didn't notice any difference in how my hair felt before and after applying it. I so much more prefer the Gliss Kur leave-ins.
7. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum. I guess I just had expectations for this product that were too high due to all the hype going about it. Yes, it is a beautiful face serum, yes, it makes your skin smooth, soft and lovely. Besides that? Nothing much, didn't "repair" my skin as it claims, didn't improve it, didn't reduce any discoloration or scarring. A big big disappointment and a waste of money.

That's it for now, I might do one of those post again once I finish some products I'm currently using:)
Tell me if you'd like me to do a post like this again!

Rapunzel

Here's a hairstyle that I tried to recreate watching a tutorial. It took me quite a while but I am proud of myself for managing how to do it! Lots of French braiding and patience! It's something you can wear to  a wedding, graduation, prom or whatever, any special occasion basically.

What I wore

I really like this new blazer that I've recently got from Zara. It is so versatile, goes with pretty much everything. Plus, it is a good wardrobe staple to have. Plain white cotton tee and a black structured blazer is a must in my book!

Mascara rediscovery

Just a quick little post here to share with you ladies my rediscovery. I've had Maybelline False lash effect mascara for quite a while now, to be honest, I own two tubes of it for no apparent reason. When I started using it I didn't like it, the wand is so big, I always stain my eyelids with mascara whilst applying it and I didn't like the end results as welll. So, I just forgot about it and kept using my other mascaras.

The miracle happen when I decided to experiment and put more effort into the actual application. I've discovered that the wand is actually very smartly curved and makes it very easy to coat all your lashes if you hold it properly. Now, that's what I call a beautiful result! Super long and voluminous lashes with two coats! I do not recommend layering it as it can clump you lashes too much. Two coats-perfect! I was surprised by the length of my lashes, they even touch my browbone! Now if I watch down, I feel my lashes resting on my eyelids, amazing!
