Grown-up glitter

So here's my new glittery nail polish I've been enjoying. Love the color, love the multidimensional and hexagonal glitters! Not too childish yet playful and very eye-catching.

for Karenina..

So yesterday evening my mum, aunt and I went to the spectacle Ana Karenina which was amazing. The dancing, the whole body language, beautiful ballerinas, music and the costumes were amazing! Costumes were designed by the famous Lithuanian designer Juozas Statkevicius and I loved the movement that they had while the actors were dancing! It's a beautiful and heartbreaking story which I'd like to see again but this time with Greta Garbo in it. Have any of you watched that?

Now onto my outfit which was very dark and conservative but still with a chic touch. I love black on black, you just need to wear different textures and it will look fabulous. Just pair black silk, leather, cashmere, suede together and you can't go wrong.

Petit weekend à Paris avec mon beau!

If you are following my blog then you might already know that weekend getaways to Paris are not unusual to me. My boyfriend lives there. Distant relationship, I know. Sucks. But what you're gonna do, that's the way it is and we are happy nonetheless. I really love having my weekends there with beloved one. Paris is magnificent no matter what season or time.

The weather happened to be incredibly beautiful and sunny, we were so lucky! Beautiful weather means lots of walking, sitting in the parks, eating ice cream, enjoying our drinks in cafes outside, joking around and what not! We did have lots of fun visiting the same places for God knows how many times.  Jardin des Tuileries, Trocadero, Opéra, Concorde, Champs Elysees, Galleries Lafayette, Place Vendôme, you name it, we've been there...

Despite some negative aspects and all the tourists, Paris is a magnificent city to spend time at with your beloved one. It's so romantic, full of beauty, it just has something that makes it so magic. Paris by night? Oh dear, where do I start!

Boring bus ride. Lots of reading material, music and water is all you need.
 Friday evening. Finally together!
 Lazy saturday afternoon
Loads of tourists. It's Paris after all:)
 Sunshine in Trocadero
 Moi et Eiffel
Sitting on the grass, having some ice cream and watching tour Eiffel in front of us:)
Love and prayers for Lady D
A place of princess Diana's death
Beautiful afternoon
Having delicious cocktails at George V on Champs Elysees
Monday afternoon. Right, Monday...blue for everyone but us. Having some drinks, chit-chatting and laughing with my beloved one:)

Can you tell I love roll-up sleeves? Opened my wardrobe and cringed for a second:)

What I wore

Hello, ladies! Excuse the lack of posts on my blog, I've just been really busy with uni and being sick at the same time kind of put me off from blogging and talking about pretty things:) In fact, I'm feeling much better today and here is my yesterday's outfit. I really love it, I'll admit that. There is something in simplicity that makes you feel so chic. I'm keeping my outfit neutral which you would expect from me anyways, just adding a pastel-y scarf and bright red nail polish makes it less boring. These waxy jeans I'm sporting here are becoming my favorite wardrobe piece. They look so much more interesting than the ol' black jeans  I usually wear. A slight change that transforms the whole outfit into an edgier look. Black wool/cashmere sweater is an essential that goes with everything and will keep you warm in autumn. Sparkly ballerina pumps also add up as a nice detail, give me sparkle anytime:) Ok, enough of ramble, now onto the details:
Sweater: Benetton
Jeans: Zara
Scarf: Imitz
Flats: Jetty
Bag: Zara (last season)
Belt (which you cannot see) Reserved
I'm sold. This is the best.red.ever. OPI Red Hot Ayers Rock
